Ryan P. Earnest promoted to Heritage 1st CEO
The Board of Directors of Heritage First Bank has announced that Ryan P. Earnest, has been promoted to chief executive officer of the bank. The announcement was made to the officers and staff on Thursday afternoon.
“On behalf of Heritage First Bank’s board of directors and our officers and staff, we are proud to announce that Ryan Earnest is promoted to chief executive officer of the bank. Ryan has served Heritage First with extraordinary energy and commitment since the bank opened its doors in 2002 and has earned the honor of now serving as its chief executive,” Wilkes said. “We all look forward to continuing advancement for the bank on behalf of our shareholders, our customers, and our community under Ryan’s leadership,” Wilkes added.
Ken Davis, chairman of Heritage First Bancshares, Inc. said “We are proud of Ryan’s extraordinary leadership and service to Heritage First Bank. He has been a primary contributor to the success of our company, and we know that the bank will continue to grow and succeed in the future.”
“Ryan has worked closely with Greg Wilkes, our chief executive officer for the past 9 years, and he is ready to assume the top management role at Heritage First,” Davis added.
A celebration/reception for Earnest will be given by the Bank on Dec. 28, from 4 to 6 p.m. at the bank’s main office, 501 Broad St. The public is invited to come by the bank and offer their congratulations to Earnest.
