From Floyd County Schools
The Coosa High team won the Floyd County Schools Academic Decathalon held Jan. 11 at the Board of Education central office.
The Coosa High team will automatically advance and represent Floyd County Schools in the state competition in February. The academic decathlon features three divisions of competition: honors, scholastic and varsity. The academic contest includes questions in: literature, math, economics, social science, science, music and art. Team winners 1st - Coosa High (CHS) 2nd - Pepperell High (PHS)
3rd - Armuchee High (AHS)
4th - Model High (MHS)
