Four arrested in connection with Calhoun home invasion
They are charged with felony home invasion, felony first-degree burglary and felony aggravated assault.
CALHOUN — Four people have been charged in connection with a home invasion that occurred last month in Calhoun, according to Calhoun Police Chief Garry Moss.
Shortly after 1 a.m. on Dec. 15, police responded to a dispatch on Creekview Drive in reference to a home invasion with shots fired. Officers discovered upon arrival the victim had been shot once in the right leg. A witness told police two people wearing ski masks had entered his residence and “began verbally attacking him, demanding money.” The victim also told officers one of the suspects pulled a handgun and fired one shot, striking the victim in the right leg.
Police found the vehicle but the suspects fled.
“The shooter, as well as one other suspect, was able to evade officers the night of the incident, but have recently been taken into custody,” said Captain Tony Pyle with the CPD.
Police arrested James Kyle Faulk, 23, of 225 S. Fourth Ave., No. 6, Chatsworth, who was identified as the shooter, and three others. They also arrested Anita Kae Selvy, 40, of 130 Campground Road, Calhoun; Matthew Zane Johnson, 34, of 205 Parkway Drive, Adairsville; Angela Dawn Holloway, 48, of 730 Adam’s Road, Chatsworth.
All four are charged with felony home invasion, felony first-degree burglary and felony aggravated assault.
