We see our surgical patients as having the potential of having a better quality of life by having spine surgery.”

Each patient is asked to choose a coach, who will be an active participant in the patient’s care before, during and after discharge from the hospital.

The coach is usually a family member or friend, and is encouraged to stay in a spacious private patient room that includes guest accommodations.

One person, a care coordinator, will be the patient’s resource before, during and after discharge.

This resource is available to answer any questions and help navigate the continuum of care.

Physical therapy and nursing care take place on a unit dedicated exclusively to spine patients.
