Rome’s Own Gospel Choir and Northwest Georgia Winds will perform a concert titled “Lift Every Voice” at 7:30 p.m. on
Tuesday at the Rome City Auditorium on Broad Street. Admission is free. The concert will celebrate unity and togetherness for Black History Month.

THURSDAY
The Northwest Georgia Woodturning Club will meet Thursday at 6 p.m. at the Charles C. Parker Senior Center, 1325 Kingston Highway. Paul Coley will demonstrate how to make a pipe. The meeting is free and open to the public.
The Rotary Club of Rome will host Rome dentist Dr. Hunter Edwards to discuss a mission trip to Africa on Thursday at noon at Coosa Country Club, 110 Branham Ave.
Unity Christian School
will host an open house for preschool-12th grade on Thursday at 6:30 p.m. Attendees will learn more about the school, tour the campus and meet the teachers.
FRIDAY
The Exchange Club of Rome will present Al Hodge and the Star Students at their meeting on Friday at noon at the Palladium, Coosa Valley Fairgrounds, 1400 Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd. The club meets every Friday. For information about the Exchange Club call 706506-2499.

The Northwest Georgia Chapter of the United Veterans of the Armed

A Winter Bazaar is coming to the Cherokee Golf and Country Club in Cedartown on Saturday at 150 Club Drive from 8 a.m. to noon. Items for sale will include jewelry, baked and canned goods, wardrobe accessories and home decor. Vendor applications are being accepted, but a limited number of tables are available. MULTIDAY EVENTS
Floyd County Juvenile Court is seeking volunteers to serve as Citizen Review Panel members. After the initial two-day training, this is a once-a-month commitment. Volunteers will meet families with whom the Division of Family and Children
Services is involved. The parties go over the case plans to measure progress and make recommendations to the judge. For more information or to volunteer, contact Kimberly Barackman at 706-290-6097. Training will be held March 15-16 and a background check will be required.
Oak Hill & The Martha
Berry Museum will present “Sanctuary at Berry: Wildlife Photography by Gena Flanigen” from Feb.
24 through Aug. 18. This exhibition explores Berry College’s wild inhabitants, including a variety of birds, mammals and reptiles. Berry faculty and community members will present lectures on white-tailed deer, the Berry College bald eagles, striped bass spawning and more.
