Woman arrested at Applebee’s facing felony drug charge

A Rome woman arrested Sunday at Applebee’s Grill and Bar was in jail without bond on a drug charge.

According to Floyd County Jail records:

Laurel Anne Mooney, 20, of 723 Turner Chapel Road, was arrested by Rome police at the restaurant at 826 Turner McCall Blvd.

Mooney is facing a felony charge of possession of methamphet­amine and misdemeano­r possession of drug-related objects.

Car chase leads to meth charge for Floyd couple

A Floyd County couple that led police on a vehicle chase to their home were in jail Sunday night on felony drug charges.

According to jail records:

Greg Alan Graboski, 33, and Haley Ruth Kilgore, 26, both of 214 Prater Road in Rome, were each charged late Saturday with possession of methamphet­amine and were being held without bond.

Graboski also is facing charges of fleeing or attempting to elude officers for a felony offense, willful obstructio­n of officers, felony driving while license is suspended or revoked, failure to obey traffic control devices and cracked windshield.

Police: Rome woman had Schedule II drugs, meth

A Rome woman was in jail without bond Sunday night, facing felony drug charges.

According to Floyd County Jail records:

Amber Lee Newton, 37, of 15 Clark Ave., Apt. 6, was arrested at her home Saturday by Rome police.

Newton is charged with possession of methamphet­amine and possession of a Schedule II controlled substance.
