PICKLEBALL TOURNAMENT — The first Rome Pickleball Classic continues today and Sunday at the Thornton Recreation Center featuring players from across the state in singles, doubles and mixed doubles divisions. Matches will begin at 8 p.m. today and 9 a.m. Sunday. Spectators are welcome and admission is free.

SENIOR ALL-STAR GAMES — The fourth annual NWGA Tip-Off Club Senior All-Star Games will be March 15 at the Floyd Campus of Georgia Highlands College. High school seniors from across the region will participate in the exhibition games, with the girls’ game starting at 6 p.m. and the boys’ game scheduled to start at 7:30 p.m. Admission is $5.

PRESCHOOL SOCCER CLASSES — Rome YMCA Arsenal is presenting Lil’ Gunners preschool soccer classes this spring. Each session introduces soccer through games and activities. The first session of four classes begins March 15 with a second session starting April 19. The cost is $25 for YMCA members and $40 for non-members, and includes a team shirt and medal. Classes meet at Grizzard Park on Thursdays from 5-5:35 p.m. and are limited to 15 participants. For more information contact the YMCA at 706-2322468.

LEPRECHAUN-A-THON — The 2018 Harbin Clinic Leprechauna-thon 5K race will be held March 17 at 7:30 p.m. Runners and walkers should wear green for a chance to win prizes at the prerace costume contest. To register and for more information visit rfpra.com/leprechaun-a-thon. Preregistration is $25 for the 5K and $20 for the walk. Kids ages 12 and younger and groups of 10 or more can register for $20 each by visiting the Rome-Floyd Parks and Recreation administration office, 1 Shorter Ave. Pre-registration ends on March 16. To guarantee a race T-shirt register online by Monday.
