The Seven Hills Shaggers dance club will meet in the Red Room, Johnny’s New York Style Pizza, 233 Broad St., on
Thursday. Members get in free, but guests and visitors are welcome with $5 cover. Music will start at 7 p.m.
The Lochs and Hills Celtic Association will host Pot Luck o’ the Irish on March 17 at 6 p.m. at Georgia Highlands College Heritage Hall, 415 Third Ave. Parking will be in the rear of the building off Fourth Avenue. There will be live music by the Ceilidh Celtic Ensemble, and the Rome Drake School of Irish Dancers and Anna Johnson will perform. Admission will cost $10 for adults, and $5 for children 12 and younger. Corned beef and cabbage, Irish potatoes, Irish soda bread and scones will be provided. Bring a dish to share. Third Friday Night Cruise-In will hold their antique and classic vehicle cruise-in on Friday at 6 p.m. at the East Rome Burger King, 1323 Turner McCall Blvd. There will be door prizes and a 50/50 drawing. The 2018 Leprechaun-athon glow run 5K race will be held Saturday at 7:30 p.m. Runners and walkers should wear green for a chance to win prizes at the pre-race costume contest. WelshFest 2018 will be held in Rockmart on Saturday from 9 a.m.-5 p.m. Admission is free.
