host Color for a Cause,a live mural-coloring contest, on Thursday from 5-7 p.m. During the event, participat­ing organizati­ons will be provided a mural and given two hours to color. Guest judges will select the most creative mural to win a prize donation, and the murals will be uploaded to wecolorfor­acause.com for the community to vote for their favorite to be displayed in the mall. Throughout the evening, shoppers will be able to participat­e by showing their receipt to earn a point for a participat­ing organizati­on. Color for a Cause will donate $1 for

each point earned and the organizati­on with the most points will receive an additional prize donation. The Big Fibbers

Storytelli­ng Festival will be held March 16-18 at the Charles Parker Senior Center, 1325 Kingston Highway. The festival opens Friday night at 7 p.m. with a story concert by nationally acclaimed tellers Bobby and Sherry Norfolk of St. Louis. Saturday offers workshops for tellers and educators at 9 a.m., the Debby Brown Young Tales competitio­n at 2 p.m., a session of personal stories by local and regional tellers at 5 p.m. and the Big Fibbers contest at 8 p.m. On Sunday, the festival concludes with morning sessions at 9:30 a.m. and 11 a.m. Weekend tickets are $25 in advance at www.bigfibbers.com or $35 at the door. Individual session tickets are $10$15. Saturday afternoon and Sunday morning sessions are free but donations are accepted.
