RUN FOR THE HOMELESS — The Women’s Auxiliary of The Salvation Army will sponsor a fundraisin­g GoGo mile and 5K “Run for the Homeless” on Saturday. The run is a Peachtree Road Race qualifying event. For more informatio­n visit www. SalvationA­rmyRome.org.

PRESCHOOL SOCCER CLASSES — Rome YMCA Arsenal is presenting Lil’ Gunners preschool soccer classes. Each session introduces soccer through games and activities. The second session starts April 19. The cost is $25 for YMCA members and $40 for non-members, and includes a team shirt and medal. Classes meet at Grizzard Park on Thursdays from 5-5:35 p.m. and are limited to 15 participan­ts. BRANCH BRAGG GOLF — The seventh annual Branch Bragg Memorial Golf Tournament will be April 21 at Stonebridg­e. The four-man scramble is set to start at 9 a.m., with breakfast, lunch and prizes available. The cost is $80 per person with proceeds going to scholarshi­ps for Coosa studentath­letes. BERRY VOLLEYBALL CAMPS — GRIT Volleyball Camp at Berry College is hosting a series of clinics and camps. They focus on developing and refining specific skills through repetition and learning strategies. Clinics on specific skills will be held June 1-2, while day camps for all skills are scheduled for June 4-6 and 27-29. Overnight camps are scheduled for July 16-18 and July 19-21.
