Oak Hill & The Martha Berry Museum will present “Sanctuary at Berry: Wildlife Photography by Gena Flanigen” through Aug. 18. This exhibition explores Berry College’s wild inhabitants, including a variety of birds, mammals and reptiles. Berry faculty and community members will present lectures on white-tailed deer, the Berry College bald eagles, striped bass spawning and more. Lewis St., Summerville, will host Finster Fest on May 26-27 from 11 a.m.-5 p.m. daily. The festival will feature more than 50 artists, live music and food, a children’s art activity area and tours of Paradise Garden. Admission is $5. Through History on May 11 at Myrtle Hill Cemetery, 20 Myrtle St., from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. The event highlights Historic Preservation Month and is planned in conjunction with the Office of Downtown Development and the Rome-Floyd Planning Department. The event will feature live music by the Barbaric Yawps and local food trucks. Guided hikes led by local athletic trainer Brian Price will start at 11 a.m., noon and 1 p.m. A Harbin Clinic tent will be set up in the grassy area at the base of Myrtle Hill across from Branham Avenue. Tables will be available for sitting or bring blankets for picnicking. Outdoor games will be in play, including life-size checkers and cornhole.
