Meet some East Central kids as Kindergarten Confidential kicks off.

-

This past school year, Rome City Schools sat down with a few of the city’s rising stars, the kindergarten class that will graduate in 2030. Tiny students have big dreams and, if these students stay the course, the world will be a better place because of their contributions. If folks have never stopped to speak to these little tykes in their school hallways, they are missing out. Lucky for us, these bright and ambitious youngsters opened their world and invited us all to take a peek inside. This week we hear from East Central Elementary students

“I want to be a doctor when I grow up, a nurse doctor! I think it is fun to be a doctor. My dad is my hero because he is special. My favorite thing to do here at East Central is math because math is so much fun to me.” Jessica Morales Portuguez

“I want to be a scientist because I love, you know, doing something really cool. My hero is Spider-Man because I love that he shoots webs out of his fingers. My favorite thing to do here at East Central is writing, because it lets you trace. I love tracing.” Kenyon Esmé
