Harbin Clinic will host Walk with a Doc on Saturday at 9 a.m. Harbin Clinic chiropract­or Dr. Chris Nelson will give a brief talk at Bridgepoin­t Plaza followed by a twomile walk along the Kingfisher Trail. People of all ages and fitness levels may participat­e. Walkers should wear light clothing and comfortabl­e shoes. Check Harbin Clinic’s website, Facebook and Twitter pages for updates. The Chambers St. 4 Kids Committee will sponsor the eighth annual Fathers and Kids Block Party on Saturday from 4 to 9 p.m. at 107 Chambers St. The event will include food, games, music and a water slide. Chieftains Museum/Major Ridge

Home, the Rome-Floyd ECO Center and the Rome Braves will host River Quest on Saturday and July 14 from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. River Quest is a unique one-day program that allows participan­ts to learn about river ecology and local history by completing a scavenger hunt booklet at both Chieftains Museum and the Rome-Floyd ECO Center, allowing them to receive a voucher good for two free Rome Braves tickets and a chance to win a door prize. Tickets are $5 per person, include a boat ride on the Roman Holiday and can be purchased at either the RomeFloyd ECO Center or online at www.freshtix. com.
