The Ridge Ferry Park Farmers’ Market continues through Oct. 17. The market will be closed July 4 and 7, and Aug. 25. The hours are 7 to 11 a.m. on Wednesdays and Saturdays at the Ridge Ferry Park Farmers’ Market Pavilion. The American Legion Post 5, 5 Shorter Ave., will host a karaoke contest today from 6-11 p.m. Contestant­s must be registered by 7:30 p.m. The winner will be decided by audience vote and will receive a $100 prize. The Floyd County Board of Commission­ers Public Safety Committee will meet today at 8 a.m. in the Commission­er’s Caucus Room, Suite 204, of the Administra­tion Building, 12 E. Fourth Ave.

Third Friday Night

Cruise-In will have their antique and classic vehicle cruise-in on Friday at 6 p.m. at East Rome Burger King, 1323 Turner McCall Blvd. There will be door prizes and a 50/50 drawing.
