Woman charged with taking household furnishings

A Floyd County woman charged with felony theft by taking was released from jail Wednesday on a $3,500 bond. According to Floyd County Jail reports: Jessica Dawn Smith, 28, 799 Bethel Church Road, Silver Creek, is accused of taking household furnishings on July 2 from the owner of the residence on Townview Road and not returning them when asked to do so.

Smith was arrested Tuesday on a warrant.
