assistance will be available in the Judicial Courthouse, 3 Government Plaza, Suite 114 on Friday from 9 a.m.-noon to assist lowincome clients in a range of civil matters including TPOs, public benefits, housing, consumer issues, school suspensions and unemployment. This service is provided

Corps League will host former U.S. Navy Lt. Commander Paul Ebel speaking of his experiences in the Vietnam War on Saturday at the Rome-Floyd County Library, 205 Riverside Parkway. Coffee and donuts will be served at 9 a.m. and the meeting will begin at 9:30 a.m. Ebel served as chief engineering officer aboard the USS Guardfish, famous in naval lore for its ability to secretly track Soviet nuclear submarines for months at a time. Prospective League members and interested guests are invited.
