Corps League will host former U.S. Navy Lt. Commander Paul Ebel speaking of his experience­s in the Vietnam War on Saturday at the Rome-Floyd County Library, 205 Riverside Parkway. Coffee and donuts will be served at 9 a.m. and the meeting will begin at 9:30 a.m. Ebel served as chief engineerin­g officer aboard the USS Guardfish, famous in naval lore for its ability to secretly track Soviet nuclear submarines for months at a time. Prospectiv­e League members and interested guests are invited.
