Senior Gospel Singers meet every Monday from 10:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. at the Charles C. Parker Senior Center, 1325 Kingston Highway, and every Thursday from 12:30-2:30 p.m. at the Shannon Scout Hut in Shag Williams Park, 40 Minshew Road, Shannon. TUESDAY

The Floyd County Board of Commission­ers will meet Tuesday in the Community Room, Suite 206, on the second floor of the Floyd County Administra­tion Building, 12 E. Fourth Ave. Caucus will begin at 4 p.m. in the Commission­ers Caucus Room, Suite 204, followed by the Board Meeting at 6 p.m. The meetings are open to the public.

Rome Seven Hills Rotary Club, the Rome Noon Optimist Club and the Rome Lions Club will host the annual FrontLine Awards Luncheon at Coosa Country Club on Tuesday at noon. The luncheon will honor local first responders.

The Telephone Retirees will meet Tuesday at 11 a.m. at the Charles Parker Senior Center, 1325 Kingston Road. Bring a covered dish. The group is collecting Christmas coffee mugs, gently used pocket books and gently used baby dolls for Angel Express. For more informatio­n call Sue at 706802-7576.

The Rome Art Coterie will meet Tuesday at 6 p.m. in the Oostanaula Room at the Rome-Floyd County Library, 205 Riverside Parkway. Calhoun artist Paola Dominguez will give a presentati­on about her family business, “From Me to You.” Dominguez designs and engraves wood shapes that are then laser cut by her husband.

The Disabled American Veterans of Chapter 95 will be at the Rome-Floyd County Library, 205 Riverside Parkway, on Tuesdays from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. to assist veterans in filing benefits claims with the Veterans Administra­tion. Hospitalit­y House has a women’s support group for victims/survivors of family or domestic violence from 3-4 p.m. on Wednesdays on the second floor of the Serve Rome Building, Rome First United Methodist Church, 202 E. Third Ave. Childcare is provided.

The Rotary Club of Rome will host Mike Weinroth and Sherry Thomas of the Georgia Commission on the Holocaust on Thursday at noon at Coosa Country Club, 110 Branham Ave.
