Violet Study Group will be Thursday at 1 p.m. at the Federated Garden Center on East Eighth St. The program will be presented by Richard Dixon of The Coosa Valley Fair Associatio­n and will discuss how to enter plants in the fair and how to fill out the entry cards. “Play in the dirt” will follow the program.
