Harbin Clinic will host Walk with a Doc at Bridgepoin­t Plaza on today at 9 a.m. The event will feature a short wellness talk given by a Harbin Clinic physician followed by a 2-mile health walk along Kingfisher Trail. The 43rd annual Rose

Lawn Arts Festival will be held today from 10 a.m.-6 p.m. and Sunday from noon-5 p.m. at the Rose Lawn Museum, 224 W. Cherokee Ave., Cartersvil­le. The festival will feature 150 artists and food vendors from across the southeast as well as entertainm­ent. Admission to the grounds is free and museum tours are $7 each. Free shuttle service will be available from parking at the Frank Moore Building, Cherokee Avenue, and the Cartersvil­le Library, 429 W. Main St. The Red Hatters will host

“Beatles ’68” concert will be held today at 7:30 p.m. at the City Auditorium. The concert will feature Kenny Howes and Friends from Atlanta along with local string and horn players. The Beatles’ greatest hits from 1968 will be performed as they were recorded. Tickets cost $10 in advance and are available at Kroger in Rome and online at eventbrite.com. Tickets will be $12 at the door.

The annual Possum Trot

Homecoming Service will be held Sunday at 11 a.m. at Possum Trot Chapel, Berry College, 2277 Martha Berry Highway. Student speaker Kevin Grier will share details about his spiritual growth. A free potluck lunch will follow the service. Originally built around 1850, the church was appropriat­ed by Martha Berry for the Possum Trot Sunday School in 1900. The needs of the people at Possum Trot inspired her to build other schools to help children in the area learn how to use their talents and resources better. This event is free and open to the public.

The Rome affiliate of the National Alliance on Mental Illness will offer a free educationa­l course addressing mental illness and recovery. Peer-to-Peer is an 8-week course for adults who have a mental illness and begins at 2 p.m. on Sunday.
