The Georgia Mountain Music Club plays every Wednesday from 10 a.m.noon at the Charles Parker Senior Center, 1325 Kingston Highway. Come play or listen to old time bluegrass, Gospel and country music. Admission is free.

Berry College, 2277 Martha Berry Highway, will host instrument­al group

Gypsy at Heart at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday in the Ford Auditorium. Gypsy at Heart plays in genres ranging from East Indian rags and Middle Eastern scales to Latin, Celtic, European classical, American folk and jazz. This event is free and open to the public.

The Charles Parker Senior Center will host a western-themed social

dance on Friday. Doors open at 6:45 p.m., there will be a Texas Two-Step dance lesson from 7-7:45 p.m. and the dance will be from 7:45-9:45 p.m. Cost is $5 per person. Attire is casual. Bring an appetizer or dessert to share. For more informatio­n call 706766-6842.
