Reports: Man molested juvenile
A West Rome resident is being held in the Floyd County Jail without bond on multiple counts of child molestation.
According to Floyd County Jail reports:
Josue Angel Felipe, 27, of 2535 Shorter Ave., is charged with two counts of aggravated child molestation as well as two counts of sexual battery.
Warrants for the arrest of Felipe allege he committed immoral acts against a female under the age of 16 to arouse or satisfy his own sexual desires between Dec. 13, 2016 and Dec. 13, 2017
A Rome man who was caught with drugs stashed in his undershorts faces felony charges and probation warrant.
According to Floyd County Jail reports:
Joseph Shane Witt, 43, of 104 Tyler St. is charged with possession of methamphet- amines and a felony probation violation after he was picked up by a deputy Friday afternoon.
Witt is being held in the Floyd County Jail without bond.
A DeKalb County Alabama man is being held in the Floyd County Jail without bond after an arrest on a misdemeanor charge Friday.
According to Floyd County Jail reports:
Earl Thomas Walker, 49, of 1006 Sanders Ave., Fort Payne, Alabama, was charged with a felony for making false statements and writings after he signed a different name on his fingerprint card at the Floyd County Jail in April of this year.
Walker was arrested Friday on a misdemeanor shoplifting charge and that’s when deputies discovered the warrant for the felony false statement charges. Doug Walker, associate editor
