Floyd County Schools will hold their third and final public hearing for the 2019 millage rate at 7:30 a.m. Monday in the superinten­dent’s office, 600 Riverside Parkway. Regular monthly board meeting will follow. Caucus will be at 8 a.m. and board meeting at 8:30 a.m.

The Charles Parker Senior Center, 1325 Kingston Highway, will host a luau dance on July 19. Doors open at 6:45 p.m. There will be a Hawaiian line dance lesson from 7 to 7:30 p.m. followed by the dance from 7:30 to 9:30 p.m. Entry is $5 per person.
