DON’T MISS: “13 Reasons Why” — Season 3 of the controversial drama series whisks viewers back to Liberty High School, where there’s never a shortage of secrets, lies and unbearable teen angst. Eight months after preventing Tyler from committing an unthinkable act at the Spring Fling, Clay, Tony, Jessica, Alex, Justin and Zach find ways to shoulder the burden of the cover-up together while helping Tyler move toward recovery. And although Katherine Langford’s Hannah Baker is no longer central to the show, another death — teased to in the show’s ominous trailer
— will be at the center of things. (Friday, Netflix).

SUNDAY: The new documentary “Halston” delves into the life of the legendary design and lifestyle icon. It explores how, at the height of his fame, the Iowa-born Roy Halston Frowick presided over an empire that included couture, ready-towear, fragrances and even uniforms, accessories and housewares. (9 p.m., CNN).
MONDAY: Things continue to heat up on the summer soap “Grand Hotel.” Santiago and Gigi’s relationship is on the mend after secrets they have been keeping are revealed. Meanwhile, Danny teams up with the police to try and figure out what happened to Sky. (10 p.m., ABC).
TUESDAY: We’re counting on some big laughs during the “Comedy Clash” round of “Bring the Funny.” The best acts from the Open Mic round go head to head with the winners advancing to the semifinals. (10 p.m., NBC).
WEDNESDAY: “American Factory” is a revelatory documentary that takes a deep dive into a postindustrial Ohio. There, a Chinese billionaire opens a new factory in the husk of an abandoned General Motors plant and hires 2,000 Americans. But early days of hope and optimism give way to setbacks as high-tech China clashes with workingclass America. (Netflix).
THURSDAY: It’s time to say farewell to the rodeo-clown comedy “Baskets.” The hilarious series about Chip Baskets (Zach Galifianakis) and his extended kooky family signs off with tonight’s Season 4 finale. (10 p.m., FX).
FRIDAY: We love the names of the mechanical combatants in “BattleBots.” Tonight, Vlad the Impaler, OverKill, Gammatron and KillerHurtz, among others, compete in the robotic demotion derby. (8 p.m., Discovery).
SATURDAY: “Hitsville: The Making of Motown” chronicles the remarkable success and enduring cultural impact of Motown Records, which celebrates its 60th anniversary next month. The feature-length documentary focuses on the period beginning with the birth of the company in Detroit in 1958 until its relocation to Los Angeles in the early 1970s. (9 p.m., Showtime).
