Mrs. Joyce Elaine Lacey Culberson, age 86, of Adairsvill­e, went to be with her Lord and Savior Saturday morning, May 23, 2020.

Survivors include her loving husband of 67 years, Earl Culberson; son, Rusty and Theresa Culberson; grandchild­ren, Ami and Ty Jones and Sarah and Glenn Mitchell; great-granddaugh­ter, Piper Jones; and several nieces and nephews.

Private memorial service will be held Wednesday, May 27, 2020, at 2:00 PM from the chapel of Barton Funeral Home with Rev. Bob Skelton DQG 5HY (ULF 6RUUHOO RI¿FLDWING. Interment will follow in Eastview Cemetery, Adairsvill­e.

Members of the Adairsvill­e Lions Club will serve as honorary pallbearer­s.

A celebratio­n of Joyce’s life will be held at a later date.

Graveside funeral and interment services will be held

Mr. Thomas Joseph “T.J.” Jones, age 60, of Rome, passed away on Sunday, May 24, 2020, at his residence.

Mr. Jones was born in Floyd County, Georgia on November 3, 1959, son of Doris Taylor Brookshire and the late Robert Lewis Jones. In addition to his father, he was also preceded in death by a sister, Elizabeth Matthews of Rome. Mr. Jones was a graduate of Armuchee High School. After high school, he began his constructi­on career and was the proud owner of T.J. Jones Constructi­on Company. He was of the Baptist faith.

Survivors include his girlfriend, Kathleen Rogers, of Rome; son, Josh Jones, of Rome, and his children, Ryan Clark, Hayden Jones, Cameron Jones and Ryder Jones; daughter, Heather Jones, of Rome, and her children, Dillon Gilmore, Ashley Gilmore and Kaylee Gilmore; daughter, Alicia Lowery (Jason), of Rome, and her children Avery Eury, Madilyn Norton and Ella Lowery; his mother, Doris Taylor Brookshire (Jerry), of Cleveland; a brother, Robert Malcom “Mac” Jones (Lorie), of Gainesvill­e; a sister, Carrie Reece, of St. Augustine, FL; numerous nieces and nephews also survive.

A graveside service for Mr. Jones will be held at Oaknoll Memorial Gardens on Wednesday, May 27, 2020, at 11:45am with the Rev. BilO\ )ULFNV RI¿FLDWLQJ )DPLLY and friends are welcome to attend. Social distancing measures will be followed.

Mrs. Nettie Ann Magnicheri Mcelwee, age 76, of Rome, passed away on Sunday, May 24, 2020, at her residence.

Mrs. Mcelwee was born in Mccomb, Mississipp­i on September 20, 1943, daughter of the late Ralph Magnicheri, Sr. and the late Annie Mae Johnston Magnicheri. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Hart Mcelwee, Sr., and by a stepson, Joey Mcelwee. She was the former owner/operator of North Broad Produce. She also worked for Kroger Bakery, Sun Mountain Nursing Home and in commercial
