Woman accused of taking $5K worth of lottery tickets

A Rome woman turned herself in at the jail to face a felony theft by taking charge and was released on bond.

According to Floyd County Jail reports:

Haley Shiree Warren, 33, is alleged to have taken some $5,100 worth of lottery tickets from a local business between July 7 and July 18.

The warrant for her arrest does not identify the location where the thefts occurred.

Summerville woman arrested on multiple

drug charges

A Chattooga County resident is facing multiple drug charges after an early morning incident in Lindale.

According to Floyd County Jail reports:

Tamara Lynn Winn, 29, of Summerville, was at a location on Spring Circle in Lindale between midnight and 1 a.m. Tuesday, shouting obscenities and threats against others on the scene.

When officers confronted her they found seven suspected clonazepam pills on her, and charged her with seven felony counts of possession of a Schedule IV controlled substance.

Winn also was charged with misdemeanor disorderly conduct. Her bond was set at $3,500.

Report: Lindale man jailed after threats

A Floyd County man charged with threatening another person at the Charles Hight Square shopping center was released from jail Tuesday on bond.

According to Floyd County Jail reports:

Teddy Connor Hutchins Jr., 31, of Lindale threatened the life of another man and also attempted to injure him during the Monday night incident.

Hutchins is charged with felony terroristic threats and acts along with misdemeanor simple battery and disorderly conduct.

Police: Polk man stalked via text

A Rockmart man was in jail Tuesday with no bond after his arrest on a warrant charging him with aggravated stalking.

According to Floyd County Jail reports:

Tony Curtis Choat, 24, of Rockmart was the subject of a restraining order prohibiting contact with a person. The warrant for his arrest claims he violated the order by sending text messages to the person on Saturday night.
