Downtown Rome merchants will host a Candy Crawl in lieu of trick or treating, from Monday, Oct. 26 through Friday, Oct. 30. Businesses displaying a large candy corn sign in their front window will be handing out candy or a goody to children 12 and under who are dressed in costume and accompanie­d by a parent or guardian.
