ALLRED, Shirley Bell OBITUARIES: In Memory

Shirley Bell Allred, age 80, of Rome GA, passed away Friday March 26, 2021, in a local hospital. Mrs. Allred was born in Rome GA on August 6, 1940, daughter of the late Loyce W. and Doris Johnson Bell. Mrs. Allred retired from GE later to be Coosa Valley Credit Union after 28 years. She always enjoyed talking with her members. Mrs. Allred loved spending time with her family, children, and grandchild­ren with whom she loved to enjoy vacations and day trips. She was a member of Fellowship Baptist Church. Mrs. Allred is survived by her husband of 58 years: Jim Allred; her daughter Kim Richardson, son in law Jeff Richardson; son: Jimmy Allred and daughter in law: Sherry Allred; and daughter: Sherri Munns, son in law: Mark Munns; grandchild­ren: Josh and Jake Richardson, Abby Cummings, Sawyer Munns, Morgan Munns, Kelsey Allred, and Kylee Allred; sister: Peggy Hanson; brothers: Wesley(linda) Bell, Jr. and Bobby Bell; sister in law: Janice Roberts. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM on Thursday April 1, 2021 at Fellowship Baptist Church, with Rev. David Thornton, and Rev. %UDG\ )RUWHQEHUU\ RI¿FLDWING. Interment will follow in Oaknoll Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM until service hour on Thursday at Fellowship Baptist Church, 314 Burnett Ferry Road Rome GA. 30165. Pallbearer­s include the following gentlemen: Josh Richardson, Jake Richardson, Sawyer Munns, Drew Dempsey, Shawn Dempsey, Robbie Roberts, Zack Owens, and Stephen Mobley. Parnick Jennings Sr.’s Good Shepherd Funeral Home has charge of the arrangemen­ts.
