Her love IRU ÀRZHUV OHG WR QXPHURXV awards and citations within the Garden Clubs of Georgia and the Southeast Region of the United States. She was a master Flower Show Judge of the State of Georgia and she received the Live Oak Award from the Rome Federated Garden Club, Inc. in 1993 for her many years of outstandin­g service. Suzanne also pursued the decorative DUW RI ¿QH FKLQD SDLQWLQJ This led to a membership in the Leona Clement chapter of the Rome Porcelain Art Guild where she received numerous awards for her creations.

She is survived by her three children, Lee Field of Rome, GA, Kim Hall of Kennesaw, GA, and Jerre (Michael) Barnes of Marietta, GA, as well as her two grandchild­ren, Braden Barnes of Smyrna, GA and Katie-anne Barnes of Marietta, GA. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, April 1, 2021 from 1:30 PM - 3:00 PM at Garden Lakes Baptist Church in Rome, GA. Funeral services will follow afterward at 3:00 PM. Mrs. Jerry Ann Holder, age 84, of Rome, GA, passed away on Sunday, March 28, 2021, at her residence.

Mrs. Holder was born on July 10, 1936, in Knoxville, TN, daughter of the late Henry Raymond Aycock and the late Ottie Victoria Nix Aycock. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Wayman Marian Holder, by 5 siblings, Marguerite Curry, Raymojean Dietrich, Lorraine Goode, Jim Aycock and Dick Barker, and by 2 special family members, Ava Lee Horton and Florence Fowler. Mrs. Holder was a 1954 graduate of Rome High School where she was crowned Miss Rome High in 1954. Before her retirement, she was employed with The Piedmont Agency for 42 years. Mrs. Holder was a member of Beta Sigma Phi ladies national service sorority, Xi Beta RHO chapter. She was a member of Fellowship Baptist Church.

Survivors include 2 daughters, Vicki Holder Lester, Rome, and Alison Holder Ciccone (John), Haymarket, VA; 6 grandchild­ren, Erin Olsen (John), Nashville, TN, Jonathan Lester (Emily), Atlanta, Lauren Ciccone, Haymarket, VA, Caroline Anne Ciccone, Haymarket, VA, Randy Lester (Jennifer), Columbus, and Lorrie Hampson (Craig), Kennesaw; 5 great-grandchild­ren, Alex Olsen, Nashville, TN, Kaitlyn and Caroline Lester, both of Columbus, Amelia Jane Olsen, Nashville, and Campbell Way Lester, Atlanta; a brother, John Aycock, Atlanta; nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held at 2pm on Saturday, April 3, 2021, in Oaknoll Memorial Gardens with the Rev. James Wright, Jr. of¿FLDWLQJ 6RFLDO GLVWDQFLQJ guidelines will be followed.

The family will receive friends on Saturday from 11am until 1pm at Henderson & Sons Funeral Home, South Chapel. Social distancing guidelines will be followed and the family requests masks be worn.

Pallbearer­s are to assemble at Henderson & Sons Funeral Home, South Chapel, on Saturday by 12:30pm and include: Active; Jesse Garay, Randy Lester, Jonathan Lester, John Ciccone, Dr. John Olsen, Craig Hampson, David Fowler and Ray Fowler; Honorary; Beta Sigma Phi, XI Beta RHO Chapter.

Flowers will be accepted but the family would prefer you to consider a memorial donation to The Open Door Home.

The family would like to share their heartfelt appreciati­on to “Helping Hands Caregivers”; Owner, Carman Crawford Floyd, Brie Wedgeworth, Jarvis Starling and Debra Garrett, Right At Home. The family would also like to share their appreciati­on to the entire staff of Heyman Hospicecar­e at Floyd for their overwhelmi­ng support, with a special “thank you” to nurse, Tracey Rogers.
