Mr. Clinton William Free, age 75, of Conyers, GA, passed away peacefully on June 15, 2022, at Piedmont Henry Hospital.

Clint was born on June 15, 1947, son of the late Rev. Alvin Free and the late Marble Burkhalter Free of Rome, GA. He was also preceded in death by his son, Sean Free, on June 14, 2022. Clint was a faithful member of Zion Baptist Church. He proudly served his country as a U. S. Marine during the Vietnam era and was honored as a commission­ed Kentucky Colonel. After his service to our country, Clint worked in the funeral service industry for over 40 years. He was also the Pastor of High Rock Baptist Church in Conyers, GA in the late 1980’s. He loved the Lord and serving His people. Clint’s hobbies were cookLQJ KXQWLQJ DQG ¿VKLQJ He loved spending time with his family and enjoyed nothing more than visiting with friends. He now rests in the loving arms of Christ.

Clint is survived by his loving wife of 42 years, Rhonda Free; his daughter, Hollie Peek (Nathan); his grandsons, Miles and Lucas Peek; two brothers, Ron Free (Brenda) and Clifford Free (Mary); and many other family members whom he loved dearly.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, June 20, 2022, at 1pm at Zion Baptist Church, 7037 GA Highway 212, Covington, GA with Pastors Frank Daws and 7LP 0F1DUU\ RI¿FLDWLQJ Interment will follow in Zion Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at Zion Baptist Church on Monday from 10am until the service time.

Sean loved Jesus and was inspired to minister to those in need. He worked with the Shop with a Cop program and often enlisted the help of his young cousins. He had a great passion and support for the Wounded Warrior Project. He always wanted to make life better for those he met. Sean enjoyed spending time with his friends, listening to music, and just relaxing.

Sean is survived by his mother, Rhonda Free; his sister, Hollie Peek (Nathan); nephews, Miles and Lucas Peek; and many cousins whom he loved dearly.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, June 20, 2022, at 1pm at Zion Baptist Church, 7037 GA Highway 212, Covington, GA with 3DVWRU 5HHG %HQVRQ RI¿FLating. Interment will follow in Zion Baptist Church Cemetery.
