North Rome woman charged with making terroristi­c threats

A North Rome woman was charged with making terroristi­c threats Tuesday afternoon at a home on Reservoir Street during a possible missing child investigat­ion.

According to Floyd County Jail reports:

Jade Camill Mccall, 23, was charged with felony making terroristi­c threats, misdemeano­r disorderly conduct and obstructio­n of justice when she “attempted to walk away from officers several times” and “threatened to assault and kill her sister” while being taken into custody. She was being held on $7,900 bail Wednesday.

SEARCH WARRANT YIELDS METH BUST

The Rome-floyd Metro Task Force executed a search warrant at a home on Chambers Street in North Rome Tuesday evening that led to the occupant being charged with two felonies.

According to Floyd County Jail reports:

William David Welch Jr., 58, is charged with felony possession of meth, felony possession of meth with intent to sell and misdemeano­r possession of drug-related objects. He was being held without bail Wednesday.

POLICE: ARAGON MAN HAD METH PACKED FOR SALE

An Aragon man was arrested Tuesday on charges stemming from the execution of a search warrant March 9 on Wax Road in Aragon.

According to Floyd County Jail reports:

Bobby Joe Johnson, 49, was charged with felony possession of meth, and felony possession of meth with intent to distribute when police found “over 5 grams of meth, packed in baggies” at a home on Wax Road. He was being held on $10,000 bail as of Wednesday.

CATALYTIC CONVERTER STOLEN FROM VAN

A catalytic converter was stolen from a van parked in South Rome Monday night.

According to Rome Police Department reports:

The catalytic converter was cut out of a 1998 Ford van parked at 1700 Dean Ave. Monday night. The van was damaged and the catalytic converter has an approximat­e value of $500.
