- BRADSHAW, Jr., Herman Luther

Herman L. Bradshaw, Jr., age 80 of Silver Creek, GA, passed away on March 8, 2023.

Mr. Bradshaw was born in Rome on July 22, 1942, son of the late Herman L. Bradshaw, Sr., and Daisy Watters Bradshaw. He was also preceded in death by his sister Anita June Bradshaw in 2020.

Survivors include his wife of 56 years, Carol Braden Bradshaw; a son, Jason Todd Bradshaw, Nashville, TN; a brother Tony Bradshaw, {Liz) Duluth, GA, and several nieces and nephews.

Mr. Bradshaw was an Educator and a Realtor. He attended Pepperell schools, graduating with honors in 1960. Mr. Bradshaw graduated from Shorter College and received his master’s degree in mathematic­s from Emory University. He taught mathematic­s at Pepperell High School from 1964 1974, then he was Registrar and Director of Admissions at Floyd Junior College (now Georgia Highlands College) for many years.

Mr. Bradshaw was Registrar at Southern College of Technology (Southern Tech) from 1986 until his retirement. He served as GED Examiner for Coosa Valley Technical College.

As a Realtor, Mr. Bradshaw had been associated with Eastside Realty, Smith Real Estate, and Hardy Realty.

A graveside service will be held at 12pm on Friday, March 10, 2023, in Myrtle Hill Cemetery. Dr. Ralph Jenkins and the Rev. Billy &DUYHU ZLOO RɤFLDWH WKH Vhuvice.

The family will receive friends from 10am until 11:30am on Friday at Henderson & Sons Funeral Home, South Chapel

Pallbearer­s are to assemble by 11:15am at Henderson & Sons Funeral Home, South Chapel, and include: Dr. Harrison Fields, Dr. Larry Formby, Thomas Joiner, Bob Sloan, Larry Siniard, J. C. Davis, Mitch Jordan, and Chris Hubbell.
