- MILLSAPS, Vickie Penson

Vickie Penson Millsaps, age 68, of Cohutta, passed away Monday, January 15, 2024 at her home. She is preceded in death by her parents Doyal and Betty Penson; baby sister, Cynthia Penson; Mother-in-law and Fatherin-law, Mina and Lamar Millsaps.

Vickie was an active member and devoted choir member at Varnell Methodist Church. She was a pre-school teacher at Varnell Methodist Church for 12 years and had a great heart for children.

She is survived by her loving husband of 46 years, Hank Millsaps, sons; Seth Millsaps of Cleveland, TN, Jordan Millsaps and Maggie Box of Chickamaug­a, GA; sister, Melinda Penson Meeks of South Carolina; sister-in-law, Diane Miller of New York City, NY; nephews, Tyler Llewallyn, Zachary Llewallyn and wife Chelsea and their children, Caleb and Theo.

A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday, January 18, 2024 at Varnell Methodist Church with Rev. &KULV %UDQVFRPE RɤFLDWLQJ

The family will receive friends on Thursday from 11:00 am until the Funeral service at 1 p.m. Burial will be at Varnell Cemetery.
