Floyd County Public Works will close Lyons Bridge Road at 8 a.m. on Tuesday, March 26, to replace a failed cross drain. Work is expected to be complete Wednesday at 4 p.m. The location is at No. 2568 near Kings Bridge Road, but the trash remote site will not be affected.

SUNDAY

Silver Creek Presbyteri­an Church, 6 Old Rockmart Road, will hold a Community Easter Sunrise Service at 7 a.m., led by Pastor Camille Josey in the outdoor worship area. Immediatel­y following the service, join us for a pancake and sausage breakfast in the Fellowship Hall. You are also invited to 11 a.m. Easter service in the sanctuary and flowering of the cross. All are always welcome!

The Rome Area History Center will host public tours of the Rome Clocktower beginning Saturday, April 6, in 30-minute time slots between 1 and 3 p.m. Tickets are $10 per person and must be reserved in advance.
