Farmers market
The parking lot of the Troy Apartment complex at 714 S. Almaden Ave. hosts the Fresh Approach Mobile Farmer’s Market noon-3 p.m. Tuesdays, where anyone who receives federal benefits, including Medi-cal and unemployment, receives 50% off.

ROSE GARDEN >> The COVID-19 pandemic has exacerbated food insecurity for a large number of San Jose residents. Health Trust Meals on Wheels provided more than 150,000 hot meals to San Jose residents in need in 2020.
