Isiah Washington led Noviwith 103 rushing yards and a touchdown, including a 65-yard scamper for a score. Luke Aurilia threwfor 126 yards and a scorewhile Gavin Parenti had two receptions for 74 yards.

Defensivel­y, Gavin Parenti had a 76-yard fumble recovery for a score. Niko Krall led the defensive unit with 13 tackles.

SOUTH LYONEAST 22, WALLED LAKENORTHE­RN 21

South Lyon East took the lead with 2:15 to play in the game when quarterbac­k Zander Desentz scored a touchdown on a scramble, then connected with Dorian Armstrong for a 2-point pass to edge Walled Lake Northern on Friday.

Desentz threw for 313 yards and two touchdowns to lead the Cougars in the win, while Armstrong caught six passes for 178 yards and a score. Drake Willenborg added seven receptions for 126 yards and a touchdowns. Ayden Oliver led the East ground game with 75 yards.

South Lyon East is now 3-1 on the season while Walled Lake Northern falls to 1-3.

WALLED LAKEWESTER­N 35, SOUTH LYON 24

Walled Lake Western stayed unbeaten against Lakes Valley Conference opponents on Friday, picking up a 35-24 win over South Lyon.

Zach Trainor threw for 250 yards and four touchdowns to lead theWarrior­s (3-1) in the victory.

Dawson Skupin threw for 157 yards and two touchdowns to lead South Lyon (2-2).

MILFORD 6

The Notre Dame Prep football team improved to 3-1 on the season Friday with a 21- 6 win at Milford (1-3).

JacobBendt­sen threwfor 187 yards and two touchdowns to lead the Irish. Both touchdown passes were to Clayton Bone, who caught seven passes for 75 yards.

Michael Kirchner led the Irish on the ground with 122 yards on 27 carries.

CLAWSON31, NEWHAVEN6

The Clawson football team grabbed its first win of the season on Friday by besting New Haven 31- 6.

Tendaji Alexander ran for 252 yards on 21 carries, including a 12-yard touchdown run, to lead the Trojans (1-3, 1-3 MAC Bronze). He also added 15 tackles on defense.

Braylon Davenpor t added nine tackles on defense and had a touchdown run. Colin Snyder had an intercepti­on and a rushing touchdown as well. Alex Cordone kicked a field goal and had four extra points.

ROYAL OAK SHRINE 12, LESLIE 7

Royal Oak Shr ine grinded out a 12- 7 win over Leslie on Friday night to move to 4- 0 on the season.

The Knights were led by Alex Armenio, who caught 10 passes for 144 yards. Conor Benson was 23 of 37 passing for 250 yards and rushed for a pair of touchdowns.
