Horizon Bank temporaril­y closes Troy branch after an employee tests positive for COVID-19

Horizon Bank has temporaril­y closed its Troy branch, after an employee tested positive for COVID-19. The branch, located at 2555 Crooks Road, will remain closed through Monday, Nov. 9, according to a press release.

While closed, the office has undergone a deep cleaning. Once reopened, the staff will continue to follow safety protocols such as wearing face coverings, limiting occupancy, social distancing, and cleaning after each customer interactio­n.

“Our first priority remains keeping our advisors and customers safe and well informed, while continuing to meet the financial needs of our customers,” said David Quade, Regional President of Michigan, in the press release.

The Troy branch had recently hosted its grand opening, Aug. 26.

The Live Video Banking located in the driveup will remain available with extended hours, 7 a.m. - 9 p.m., Monday to Saturday, for routine banking transactio­ns. Customers may make an appointmen­t with an advisor, by calling (248) 781-2584. The bank offers online, mobile, and automated telephone banking
