Acts supporting new releases with concerts

Artists can’t tour to promote their new albums right now, but several will be taking the virtual stage this weekend to put a little muscle behind their new releases.

• Sam Smith celebrates his “Love Goes,” with a live performanc­e streamed from Abbey Road Studios in London at 4 p.m. today. He’ll also answer questions from fans and promises some surprise guests. Tickets via samsmithwo­rld. com.

• Tool frontman Maynard James Keenan’s band Puscifer will perform its new album, “Existentia­l Recording,” from Arcosanti, an experiment­al city in the Arizona desert, at 6 p.m. today. Tickets start at $19.99 via pusciferli­ve.com.

• Trippie Redd is releasing “Pegasus” and will be part of the second Rolling Loud “Loud Stream” virtual festival, with Gunna and others at 6 p.m. today and Saturday via Twitch.

• Country/ pop singer Cam plays live at the Bluebird Cafe in Nashville to celebrate “The Otherside” at 8 p.m. today. Tickets via watch.mandolin.com.

• Kentucky rockers

Black Stone Cherry celebrate the release of “The Human Condition,” with a “Live From the Sky” concert from SkyPac in Bowling Green, at 8 p.m. today. Tickets and other info at blackstone­cherry.com.

• The revived all- star art rock collective Mr. Bungle takes the stage for “The Night They Came Home,” a

• Harry Shearer, whose new political parody album “The Many Moods of Donald Trump” comes out today, joins New Orleans’ Galactic — in his alter ego as Spinal Tap’s Derek Smalls — for a “Galactic Halloween Special” from Tipitina’s at 9 p.m. Saturday via Nugs. tv; $14.99.
