State Rep. Bolden tests positive for COVID-19
State Rep. Kyra Bolden, D- Southfield, tested positive for COVID-19 last week.
Bolden said Monday, Nov. 30, that she has mild symptoms. After attending a meeting in Lansing on Nov. 12, Bolden said she learned she had been exposed to the coronavirus.
She quarantined immediat e ly and tested negative on Nov. 16. She stayed in quarantine, however, and received the positive result after a retest. Bolden represents the 35th House District, which includes Southfield, Lathrup Village, Beverly Hills, Bingham Farms and Franklin. She was first elected in 2018 and re- elected in the Nov. 3 election.
