Fire department partners with Toys for Tots Foundation

-

For more than 15 years, the Birmingham Fire Department has been helping economically disadvantaged children through their partnership with the U.S. Marine Corps Toy for Tots Foundation.

From now until Dec. 18, the fire department encourages the community to participate in the annual collection by donating new, unwrapped toys for boys and girls of all ages.

“It brings me so much joy to see the generosity and support of our Birmingham community as the fire station lobbies are filled with toys each year,” said Birmingham Fire Chief Paul Wells.

The Fire Department will be accepting contactless donations at both firehouses, Station 1, located at 572 South Adams Road, and Station 2, located at 1600 West Maple Road.
