Two arrested in trailer theft, suspected of similar crimes

The Oakland County Sheriff’s Office assisted the Livonia Police Department in arresting two men accused of stealing a trailer from a parking lot Friday, Dec. 11, around 7 a.m.

Livonia police spotted the pair back their vehicle up to the trailer at Hello Innovation on Turk Street, then hook it up and drive away. The trailer and its contents were valued $27,000. Deputies located the suspects and took them into custody. The two men, a 62-year-old Detroit resident and a 64-yearold Romulus man, were arrested and lodged in the Oakland County Jail pending charges. Both are suspected in similar thefts in Livonia and Farmington Hills.
