Crash reveals vehicle stolen from Waterford Twp.

A 48-year- old Pontiac woman was jailed after a singlevehicle crash on Walton Boulevard.

Deputies were called at about 2:30 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 16, to Walton and Carlisle Street with the report of the crash. They responded to find a female driver and a male passenger, the Oakland County Sheriff’s Office reported. “A search of the vehicle in the Law Enforcement Information Network (LEIN) revealed the vehicle had been reported as stolen out of Waterford Township,” the sheriff’s office said. “The subjects were taken into custody without incident.” The passenger was released, and the driver was jailed pending charges.
