Michigan Capitol is reopened following bomb threat
LANSING » The Michigan Capitol building was temporarily closed Thursday after a man called to make a bomb threat. The call came at 6:40 a.m., a day after a violent mob stormed the U.S. Capitol in an attempt to overturn the presidential election. State police cleared employees to return by 9 a.m. after conducting a sweep. Lawmakers are not convening until next week. Legislative leaders and some other legislators have offices in the statehouse.
