The distinctive and outspoken New York- centric wit of critic and essayist Fran Lebowitz is showcased in “Pretend It’s a City,” a new Netflix movie directed by her friend Martin Scorsese — who tosses in a few of his own observations about their shared hometown. Premiering Friday, Jan. 8, on Netflix.
