Siladke said the police department sent a request for a driver reevaluation to the Secretary of State’s office, which may lead to the teen having to take another driver’s test. “This is our protocol,” he said. “It’s important to have an evaluation if somebody doesn’t know the difference between the gas pedal and the brake pedal.”
No alcohol or drugs were a factor in the crash, police said.
