Black History Month

• Motown Sing Along ( for ages 50+) is 11:30 a.m.noon Feb. 19, join West Bloomfield Parks + Recreation staff to sing along to Motown favorites, then receive a bag-lunch to-go. Blood drives

• The American Red Cross urges people, especially those who have recovered from COVID-19, to give blood. • The Salvation Army’s 34th annual Bed & Bread Club Radiothon presented by Ford Motor Company Fund will continue the fight against hunger and homelessne­ss with a 24hour fundraiser, 7 p.m. Feb. 25 through 7 p.m. Feb. 26 at News/Talk 760 WJR, to raise funds for meals and shelter for those in need. • Five Points of Hope hosts “Hearts for Hope” Matching Funds Campaign, with a local donor matching donations up to $10,000 during the month of February. Five Points of Hope is a Milford-based nonprofit that helps Michigan cancer patients.
