A recap of high school sporting events reported to The Oakland Press on Tuesday night:

HOCKEY

• STONEY CREEK 7, MILFORD 4: The Stoney Creek hockey team earned a 7-4 win over Milford in a Division 3 regional contest on Tuesday night.

Sutton Murray scored three goals to lead the Cougars, while Bobby Dessy scored twice.

Christian Burkhart and Simon Gjonai also found the net.

Austin Combs, Pierce Ashcroft, Matthew Rowe and Mack Musialowsk­i each scored for Milford.

Stoney Creek will now face Cranbrook-Kingswood in a regional semifinal on Thursday.

BOYS BASKETBALL

• WL NORTHERN 58, SOUTH LYON EAST 49: Walled Lake Northern found a way past South Lyon East on Tuesday night for a 58-49 victory.

Jake Lansaw led the Knights (8-3) with 22 points, while Kevyn Robertson had 10 points, 10 rebounds and eight assists.

South Lyon East (10-2) was led by Bryce Bird, who had 17 points.

• WL CENTRAL 41, MOTT 30: Walled Lake Central won a fourth consecutiv­e game on Tuesday, topping Waterford Mott 41-30.

Jaylen Davison led the Vikings with 16 points, seven rebounds and five steals. Rafael Murrey II added eight points and three steals.

• LAKELAND 61, KETTERING 41: Lakeland picked up a Lakes Valley Conference win over Waterford

Kettering on Tuesday night, 61-41.

Brandon Wall and Zarek Zelinski each scored 11 points to lead the Captains.

• MILFORD 53, WL WESTERN 48: Milford got past Walled Lake Western on Tuesday night, 53-48.

Sam Lewis had 22 points to lead the Mavericks in the win, while Eric Elizondo had nine points.

• SEAHOLM 52, OXFORD 42: Birmingham Seaholm used a fast start to get past Oxford on Tuesday, 52-42.

The Maples outscored the Wildcats 11-0 in the opening quarter and held on from there.

Jonny Cross had 13 points to lead the Maples in the win, while Charlie Bokos had 12 points.

Alex Brown had 16 points to lead Oxford.

• FERNDALE 83, FARMINGTON 34: The Ferndale

boys basketball team rolled to a big win over Farmington on Tuesday night.

Jason Drake had 24 points and five assists to lead the Eagles in the win, while Caleb Renfroe had 17 points with four rebounds. Treyvon Lewis added 15 points, seven assists and five rebounds.

• OAKLAND CHRISTIAN 51, CLARENCEVI­LLE 49: Auburn Hills Oakland Christian improved to 9-4 on the season Friday with a 51-49 win over Livonia Clarencevi­lle.

Lake Patterson led the Lancers in the win with 14 points.

GIRLS BASKETBALL

• WL NORTHERN 59, SOUTH LYON EAST 41: The Walled Lake Nor: hern girls basketball team grabbed a 59-41 win over South Lyon East on Tuesday to improve to 9-4 on the season.

Kelly Hickey and Andie Wolfe each had 16 points to lead the Knights in the victory.

Avery Millspaugh had 13 points to lead the Cougars, while Madison Black scored 11.

• BERKLEY 46, SOUTHFIELD A&T 40: The Berkley girls basketball team improved to 10-4 on the season with a 46-40 win over Southfield A&T on Tuesday night.

Ashley Loon had 16 points to lead the Bears, while Ryleigh Sanom added

• LAKELAND 55, KETTERING 10: Lakeland improved to 8-6 on the season Tuesday night with a 55-10 win over Waterford Kettering.

Summer Ambler had 11 points to lead the Eagles, while Grace Goodnough had nine points.

• LUTHERAN NORTHWEST

49, PLYMOUTH CHRISTIAN 36: Rochester Hills Lutheran Northwest kept its unbeaten season going on Tuesday with a 49-36 win over Plymouth Christian.

Emily Grulke had 17 points to lead the Crusaders in the win, while Sabrina Gottschalk had 13 points.

• EVEREST COLLEGIATE 49, GENESEE CHRISTIAN 36: Clarkston Everest Collegiate got past Genesee Christian on Tuesday, 49-36.

Celeste James led the Mountainee­rs in the win with 22 points.

• SOUTHFIELD CHRISTIAN 52, DEARBORN A&T 31: Southfield Christian earned its third win of the season on Tuesday, besting Dearborn A&T 52-31.

Rachel Cairo had 21 points to lead the Eagles in the win, while Madison Moore scored 11.
