Bloomfield Hills wins OAA White title by edging Troy

Boys basketball

BLOOMFIELD HILLS 54, TROY 51

The Bloomfield Hills boys basketball team won the OAA White title on Friday with a 54-51 win over Troy at home.

Carson Brodsky hit a pair of free throws down the stretch to give the Black Hawks the lead. The Colts had a chance to force OT, but couldn’t connect on a 3-point attempt.

Noah Adamczyk had 24 points to lead Bloomfield Hills (8-4, 6-2 OAA White) in the win, while Mason Canfield had nine points with seven assists. Brodsky finished with eight points and 10 rebounds.

NOVI 73, CHURCHILL 51

The Novi boys basketball team picked up a 73-51 win over Livonia Churchill on Friday night.

Bryce Lubin had a career-high 33 points to lead the Wildcats in the win.

CLAWSON 36, GARDEN CITY 26

The Clawson boys basketball team won their second consecutiv­e game on Friday, besting Garden City 36-26.

Colin Snyder led the Trojans with 13 points, while Kyle Gougeon had seven.

Girls basketball

TROY ATHENS 47, OXFORD 34

The Troy Athens girls basketball team ended its regular season with a 47-34 win over Oxford on Friday.

Ella Musto had 17 points to lead the Red Hawks, while Skylar Emerson had 10.

Mackenzie Methner led Oxford with 14 points.

OAKLAND CHRISTIAN 65, SOUTHFIELD CHRISTIAN 38

The Auburn Hills Oakland Christian girls basketball team defeated Southfield Christian on Friday, 65-38.

Alaina Franey led the Lancers in the win with 16 points, while Madison Moore led Southfield Christian with 15 points.

PLYMOUTH CHRISTIAN 62, LUTHERAN NORTHWEST 43

The Rochester Hills Lutheran Northwest girls basketball team suffered its first loss of the season on Friday, falling to Plymouth Christian 6243.

Sabrina Gottschalk had 15 points and 11 rebounds to lead the Crusaders, while Melanie Siebert scored 10 points.
