Oakland County has received 30,690 doses of COVID-19 vaccine from the state of Michigan for the week ending Monday, April 5. That is up from 26,400 doses a week ago.

The Oakland County Health Division will conduct 18 COVID-19 vaccine clinics by appointment through April 5 in Holly, Madison Heights, Novi, Pontiac, Rochester, Southfield, Waterford and West Bloomfield.

In addition, Ready Nursing Solutions will administer COVID-19 vaccine at seven long-term care centers. The county also is redistributing vaccine to 37 providers this week.

So far of 1,029,747 total eligible Oakland County residents ages 16 and up, 203,654 have completed both doses and 362,201 (35.17%) have received the first dose, according to the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services dashboard as of Sunday, March 28.

Of the 217,676 seniors ages 65 and older, 105,114 have completed both doses with 149,500 (68.7%) receiving the first dose.

The county has administered 560,214 total doses.

The total amount of vaccine this week includes 2,340 Pfizer doses from FEMA which will be administered in Pontiac to residents who live in areas with a higher Social Vulnerability Index. This is due to Ford Field serving as a regional vaccination site.

The vaccine breakdown: 17,550 first and second doses from Pfizer, 6,400 first and second doses from Moderna and 4,400 first doses from Johnson & Johnson which just requires one dose.

As of Monday, all ages 16 and up will be eligible to receive the vaccine.
