Two new directors appointed at M1 Concourse

Brian Baker and Bill Lee have been appointed as directors at M1 Concourse in Pontiac, according to an announceme­nt from the automotive and events venue.

Baker joins M1 Concourse as director of events and festivals. Baker served 25 years as a General Motors designer of concept and production vehicles in Europe and the US, and held the position of Vice President of Design for American Specialty Cars. He is also a past president of the Society of Auto- motive Historians chapter in Detroit. Baker has served as a docent at The Henry Ford, Vice President of Education at the Automotive Hall of Fame, and most recently as the Director of Collection­s and Education at the National Corvette Museum.

Lee was appointed as director of sponsor partnershi­ps. Lee has held executive positions at Olympia Entertainm­ent, Champions on Ice and SMG Worldwide Facility Management. He led the sales for more than 1,000 sports and entertainm­ent events. He was recently the chief revenue executive and co-creator of a leading-edge live event sponsorshi­p format featuring actors from legacy shows on ABC, CBS and more.
