Meander your way through the Gulf Coast Town Center during the 21st Biannual Estero Fine Art Show. The juried event takes place on Jan. 6 and 7. Sponsored by HotWorks.org and the nonprofit Institute for the Arts & Education, the show features paintings, sculptures and other works by fine art and fine craft artists. It’s considered one of the top 100 art shows in America.

An ongoing project, the Hot Works team works year-round to secure an assemblage of extremely high-quality original pieces by professionals that are on display and for sale.

“We do extensive research to guarantee that all artwork is 100 percent original and created by the artists present at the show,” says Patty Narozny, producer and executive director of Hot Works. “In this environment, potential art buyers and guests have the invaluable opportunity to build a rapport with each artist and gleam a bit of clarity regarding his or her inspirations and methods.”

Art brings an exciting, new look into your home or office, but it also brings a piece of the artist that will remain for years to come. In an effort to encourage art lovers to become art collectors, organizers have selected works in all categories and at all price ranges. “Since the beginning of civilization, art is still your biggest and best investment,” Narozny points out.

An event for the whole family, the show features a Youth Art Competition, sponsored by the Institute for the Arts & Education, that’s open to grades K-5 (ages 5-13). The goal is to encourage the upcoming generation to enter their original art, which will be displayed and judged by a professional. To further sweeten the pot, there will be awards of $250 and an official presentation on Sunday, Jan. 7, at 3 p.m.

The 21st Biannual Estero Fine Art Show takes place at the Gulf Coast Town Center on Saturday, Jan. 6, 10 a.m.-7 p.m. and Sunday, Jan. 7, 10 a.m.-5 p.m. hotworks.org
